What
is AIIM?
AIIM International is THE professional association in the field
of Information Management. Our mission is to educate & advise
both organisations and individuals on all aspects of Information
Management. We offer a wide range of member-only resources and activities
designed to help you develop professionally as well as help improve
the efficiency, productivity and value of your organisation by capitalising
on its inherent information and knowledge assets.
So
what activities are AIIM involved in?
AIIM is committed to making available the resources, support and
training necessary for successful information management to those
who want it. Although we do this, in part, through our annual events,
our ongoing research and our intensive management programmes, we
our best able to provide education, advice and resources all year
round through our dedicated Professional Membership Scheme.
What
is Professional Membership?
It costs £85 +VAT to become an AIIM Professional Member for
a year in the UK. In return for this subscription fee, the scheme
delivers an exclusive set of specified benefits all year round,
way above and beyond the programme of advice and education that
you could get at a single event.
How
do I Benefit?
Benefits include access to the member's only area of the AIIM.org
website which houses a vast range of searchable content and resources,
research & white papers. There is also an advice service where
you can receive free personal guidance from professional consultants
throughout the year. In addition, as a member, you are able to participate
in private moderated listservs and discussion groups for peer to
peer networking.
You become entitled to
a range of discounts and member-exclusive offers on a whole host
of services, products and education programmes, not only from AIIM
but also from many other organisations who value AIIM members.
You also receive
MiD Magazine, the bi-monthly
Information Management publication, as well as a regular e-newsletter
which keeps you in touch with market developments, current trends
and commentary on Information Management & the issues that effect
it.

community combined with the networking and general information exchange

So
how do I become a member?
Becoming a UK AIIM Professional Member is straight forward. You
can do it right now online, by completing the Membership
Form.
Alternatively, you can
download
a form from this website to complete and then either post or
fax back to us at your convenience.

How
much will it really cost me?
AIIM Membership for 12 months costs £85 +VAT. For that one

can I pay?
You can pay online with a credit/debit card via our secure
web form or over the telephone.
You can pay by cheque
made payable to AIIM International Ltd which you should post to
us along with a completed Membership Form which you can download
and / or print out from here.
